Sporting at the Country Club

The Club is situated on the banks of the Eikenhof dam. It is ideal for mountain bikers and hikers. The club also has several sport fields which makes the Club the ideal home base for several different sporting disciplines.

Elgin Cricket Club

Elgin Cricket club is an active club which have summer fixtures and play in the Western Province social league.

We encourage a family atmosphere at our games and it is common to see kids playing their own competitive game alongside the main game. The tennis courts and stunning mountain hikes means there is something for the whole family to do during the cricket.

We pride ourselves at being able to play a good competitive game as well as ensure our opponents enjoy a good braai and drink after. For cricket enquiries, please contact:

The Eikenhof Dam

The ideal place for the people from the rowing fraternity to hone their skills while the adjacent mountains provide the conditions required for the hikers, cross country runners and mountain bikers to practise their disciplines while taking on some of the most gruelling trails in the area.
Each sport section has a representative who is in charge of organising the sport section. Please contact the Club for the details of the relevant person should you wish to make contact with this person.
